We apologize for any problems you are experiencing with connecting to the doppel app. There are several reasons why this may happen, all of which we have solutions for below.
Please ensure that your doppel app is updated to the latest version.
This is my first time using doppel and I am unable to pair
1. Please ensure that doppel has been charged for two hours before trying to pair
2. If your doppel buzzes in the charging base, please continue on to the steps below, if not please contact our support team and we will help resolve the issue.
When I scan for doppel it says no doppel wristband found
1. Please remove doppel from the charging base, and then place it back in
2. doppel should vibrate in the base (this means it's in pairing mode)
3. Press Scan in the app.
4. A Bluetooth Pairing Request will pop up, it is important that you select Pair when this pop-up appears.
5. Now doppel will pair successfully.
Note: If these steps still did not work then you will need to clear your phones Bluetooth cache first and then repeat steps 1-4 above.
My doppel does not vibrate in the charging base
If your doppel is not vibrating on the base, please contact our support team and we will help resolve the issue.
I've lost connection how do I re-pair with the app
Bluetooth works in different ways on different devices. If your doppel wristband disconnects unexpectedly, follow these suggestions.
Please note that if your doppel has run out of battery, it will not be able to pair with the app.
1. Select the Retry button and doppel should reconnect
2. If the first suggestion did not work, do the 4-point pairing gesture so that doppel vibrates (pairing mode), or place doppel in the charging base so that it vibrates (pairing mode) and doppel should reconnect
3. If this also does not work try turning Bluetooth off and on again.
4. If this does not work, please try charging your doppel as it can not connect if it is out of battery.
5. If these steps fail, please select Unpair wristband, under the purple Retry button and attempt to Scan and pair again
6. If you find that steps 1-4 never work for re-connecting your doppel with the app then, please try clearing your phones Bluetooth cache
How to pair to the app
1. Firstly, turn on your phones Bluetooth
2. Put your doppel into pairing mode - If you do not know how to do this please select the yellow text "Show me how", in the app, for guidance.
3. Once doppel has vibrated and is in pairing mode, select the purple button "Scan"
5. A Bluetooth Pairing Request pop-up will appear please select "Pair" to complete the process. Once you have selected "Pair" your doppel is now connected. Only after you click pair is your doppel truly connected, so please wait for this pop-up to appear.


How to pair to the app using the charging base
1. Firstly, turn on your phones Bluetooth
2. Place your doppel wristband in the charging base so that it vibrates once. This puts your doppel in pairing mode.
3. Navigate to your doppel app and select the purple button "Scan"
