This did not work for my Android phone
If you are using an Android, the steps above may not be enough and the next option is to completely clear Bluetooth cache, as a final troubleshooting step. Please be aware that following these steps will unpair your phone with other Bluetooth devices it may be connected to, so you will need to re-pair
Clearing your Bluetooth cache more thoroughly - for Android only
- Unpair doppel in the app (if doppel is still paired)
- Close and then delete the doppel app
- Go to your phones Settings app
- In your phone's Bluetooth list check doppel is not paired. If it is, unpair in the list and turn off Bluetooth.
- Next, go to System Settings > Apps, and then press the Menu button (3 vertical dots at top of apps list)
- Click on Show System Apps - more of your phone's apps will appear in the list. Scroll down to Bluetooth (you will see the Bluetooth symbol) and click on it.
- Press the Force Quit button at the bottom, then click on "Storage".
- Press the clear cache and clear data buttons at the bottom.
- Restart phone.
