Loud click-click sound, loss of connectivity and resetting of intensity
AnsweredWith each spin of the vibration motor, my Doppel (that I received today), makes a loud click-click sound. Like the ticking of a watch on steroids. Is this normal? I expected no other sounds, except the light buzz of the vibrating motor. I find it distracting instead of calming :(.
Further to the above issue, I also discovered that the device reverts to 20% intensity after an on/off cycle (it was set to 14% before switching off) and twice the device reverted to a weird state were connectivity with the app was lost and the rhythm changing to something completely different to what I set it. I had to repeat bluetooth pairing and resynce my rhythm.
This does unfortunately not bode well for the quality of this device.

Hi André,
I am sorry that you seem to be having issues with your doppel, we can absolutely arrange a replacement. doppel's vibration is quiet but if you hold it up to your ear you can hear the motor. At higher intensities, you are more likely to be able to hear it but it shouldn't really be possible to describe it as loud or a clicking sound. We can absolutely get this resolved for you, I have emailed you directly to arrange a replacement.
Currently, it is normal for doppel to turn on at the default intensity of 20%, but we really appreciate your feedback on this as it helps us to know how to improve the product. We have a few other doppelgangers mention they would prefer doppel to remember their last intensity, so it is feedback that we are taking on board.
We will arrange that replacement for you to get you back up and running so that you can start benefiting from the effects of doppel.
Huge apologies for any inconvenience.
- Best Wishes
Hannah
