Doppel experience since June 2018
AnsweredI have enjoyed using Doppel for over 6 months. As I'm talking now, Doppel just shut itself off. *taptap *turned back on. It has turned itself again. *taptap. Again: off. Now I take it off.
The point of wearing this tech wearable is so that the robot does it's job and pulses me to feel comfortable. I want to love Doppel, it just doesn't work like it should. Countless times where it's running when it shouldn't be– not running when it should be– I've often had to let it just wear itself down from 90% battery and it's always a little embarrassing when I want it off and it stays on. Doppel on high pulse is quite noticeably loud; which can be MORE stress-inducing than stress-reducing (for me) when I worry about drawing attention to myself in a still, quiet environment.
Best Doppel scenarios: when I'm alone cleaning the house, doing regular chores or driving. Feel very relaxed and forward-moving. A good day with Doppel, I'm never caught in thought loops or stagnant. Worst Doppel scenarios: trying to troubleshoot your doppel with friends around. I have to think twice before agreeing if it is a good time to use Doppel.
I would have liked to have used Doppel every day for the past 6 months, but it has sadly been more like once a week. If I can keep it charged and functional– always paired with the app and use the app to change speed and turn it on and off, then I might be able to use it more and more. Learning its quirks and my quirks!
Praying for Doppel to be a daily driver. And FYI, Doppel did not replace coffee for me. Coffee doesn't need great troubleshooting and frustrating measures of new tech.

We are always on hand to go through troubleshooting steps to improve your experience or to send out a replacement. Someone from our team will be in contact to offer some troubleshooting advice.
Thank you, however, for sticking with us. We're working very hard on app improvements. We’ve still got teething problems on a few phones and are aware that we have a small number of customers who are experiencing ongoing problems, and are keen to make sure they can benefit from the same smooth experience that the majority of our customers currently enjoy. We do have an app update coming out very soon, so please keep an eye out for that.
I am glad to hear that when doppel does work for you, you are able to get the desired calm effect and its great to hear the scenario’s you do use it in. I’ve not thought to use it for my chores but I’ll be stealing that one and trying it out in those scenarios myself.
